Want to be a pro softball player?
The Florida Vibe professional softball team, which has already signed a quartet of the best fastpitch players in the world including outfielder A.J. Andrews, outfielder Falepolima Aviu, catcher Kendyl Lindaman and pitcher Shannon Saile, is looking to add to its roster.
And qualified athletes are encouraged to tryout in less than two months.
Extra Inning Softball spoke to an executive within the Vibe organization and asked what “qualified” means in this case.
“There are no restrictions,” we were told. “If a player believes she is qualified to play professionally, they are welcome to come out. The only thing that would disqualify an athlete would be if they are continuing to play college ball after the spring season.”
Here is the official statement by the team and details on the tryout and, who knows? Maybe YOU will someday soon be suiting up in Vibe colors!
