BOSTON - The Boston Bruins announced today, October 16, various fan initiatives ahead of Opening Night presented by TD Bank.
The Bruins will open the 2021-22 season at TD Garden against the Dallas Stars on Saturday, October 16 at 7 p.m. Notable events will include pregame entertainment at the Hub on Causeway, promotional giveaways, an auction and a 50/50 raffle through the Boston Bruins Foundation.

BRUINS TO WEAR HELMET DECAL IN REMEMBRANCE OF JIMMY HAYES
To honor the late Bruins alumni and Dorchester native Jimmy Hayes, the Boston Bruins will wear a special "Jimmy 11" helmet decal in celebration of his life.
OPENING NIGHT CEREMONY
The Hub on Causeway will host an Opening Night celebration from 5-7 p.m. and will feature music from Rock 92.9, giveaways, photos with Blades and more! Fans will have the opportunity to fuel up at Banners Tap & Kitchen or the brand-new Hub Hall before the game.
2021-22 SCHEDULE MAGNET GIVEAWAYS
For opening night, the first 10,000 fans will receive a 2021-22 magnet schedule courtesy of TD Bank when entering through the gates of TD Garden.
In addition, as part of a season-opening promotion, the ProShop will be offering free 2021-22 magnet schedules as a gift with any purchase valued at $25 or more on BostonProShop.com beginning October 16 while supplies last.
BOSTON BRUINS FOUNDATION 50/50 RAFFLE PRESENTED BY DRAFTKINGS DAILY FANTASY SPORTS
The Boston Bruins Foundation will hold a 50/50 Raffle presented by DraftKings Daily Fantasy Sports with proceeds supporting Jake Thibeault, a local hockey player who suffered a severe spinal cord injury in September. The 50/50 raffle will run through the third period of the October 24 game against the San Jose Sharks.

BOSTON BRUINS FOUNDATION AUCTION
The Boston Bruins Foundation will host an auction that includes memorabilia such as a David Pastrnak signed jersey, a Patrice Bergeron signed photo and more. All proceeds will benefit Jake Thibeault. Bids can be placed online at BruinsAuction.com.
