3 children hurt after pit bull attack in Southeast D.C. apartment

WASHINGTON D.C. (7News) —
D.C. police say three children were injured, after a dog attack in Southeast D.C. on Saturday.

Police responded to an apartment in the 3500 block of Minnesota Ave. SE, around 11:30 a.m. , where they found a 15-year-old with non-life-threatening injuries and two other children with minor injuries.
Police say the kids were allegedly attacked by two pit bulls.
All three victims were taken to the hospital.
Officials say the Animal Rescue Alliance took possession of the dogs in question.
