Panutche Camara struck twice as League One leaders Plymouth stormed back to win 3-1 at Oxford and take their unbeaten league run to 12 games.

Matty Taylor fired the U's in front after five minutes when he ran onto James Henry's pass and deftly chipped Mike Cooper.

But it took just six minutes for Argyle, backed by around 1,800 travelling fans, to draw level.

Jordon Garrick skipped past one challenge as he cut in from the left, before curling a right-footed shot past Jack Stevens into the far corner.

Jamaican-born Garrick caused the home defence a lot of problems, while Camara was unlucky to see a shot on the turn come back off the post.

The Pilgrims went in front with a slick move in the 39th minute, finished off by Camara who swept Luke Jephcott's crossfield pass into the bottom corner.

Henry was off target with two efforts for Oxford in the second half before Camara fired high into the net from Conor Grant's low cross six minutes from the end to seal victory.

    Great win. 50 years to the day since my first Argyle game. We won then as well, 3-2 against Aston Villa. COYG!

      I remember the game well for two contrasting reasons. Two Don Hutchins goals to seal victory, then being pelted with rocks by lunatic Villa "fans" outside North Road Station.

    End of Nov / early Dec will be the acid test with games against Wycombe, Wigan and Sunderland who in my mind are the best 3 other teams in the division

    Our away fans contributed 20% of the total attendance! Had this actually been built with the customary four sides then our allocation may have been more!

    As an oxford fan, I just want to say….Plymouth are the best team we’ve faced this season. Solid unit and the threat going forward. I really hope you get promoted instead of the bigger spenders. Fair play for the support on Saturday. Really impressed. As for our defence….it always scares me, always look shaky. We’ll still be up there in the mix (just need consistency ) coyy’s

      It's a strange league this year. We're in a purple patch right now but it's a long old season. Of the seven teams to come to Home Park so far, I thought Crewe were the best and they're second bottom. Like I say, strange league.

    Let's speculate on Ryan Hardie's absence from the starting XI.

    I'll go first.

    I think he left Plymouth on Friday with the rest of the team. They dropped him off at a hotel near Newbury where, on Saturday morning, he met representatives of Bayern Munich. Following those discussions he got picked up by the Argyle secretary around lunchtime and off they went to Oxford.
