STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Police have arrested four individuals who they allege were part of a robbery and assault at a cellphone store in Graniteville Thursday evening.

On Oct. 14, at approximately 7:23 p.m., police responded to a 911 call of a robbery inside of 965 Richmond Ave.

A 19 year-old female complainant reported that three individuals entered the location. She went into a back room and was followed by the three people who demanded property, according to a statement from a spokeswoman for the NYPD.

One of the individuals allegedly grabbed her and threatened physical harm. Police said one individual kicked the complainant twice, while a third grabbed the complainant’s unattended pocket.

All three fled the location in a Mercedes Benz being operated by a fourth person, a female, the NPYD spokeswoman said.

Officers later took four people into custody nearby in front of 1465 Forest Ave.

Shawn Francis, 19, and Myasia Arnette, 20, both of Brooklyn, face robbery, burglary, and assault charges according to court records. A 15-year-old girl and a 13-year-old boy were also arrested, police said.

Arnette is being held on $20,000 bond or $3,000 cash bail and Francis on $250,000 bond or $50,000 cash bail.

The 121st precinct touted the arrests on its Twitter feed.

“Outstanding job last night by Public Safety Team Officers Perfetto and Murphy,” the Twitter post reads. “After a commercial robbery was committed at [a] cellphone store, these eagle eyed officers conducted a through canvass and spotted the vehicle they fled in and apprehended all 4 individuals responsible!”

Francis and Arnette’s next court appearance will be at Richmond Criminal Court on Oct. 20.
