The following Dauphin County restaurants were found to have violated Pennsylvania’s health and safety regulations during inspections between Sept. 19-25.
Inspections are overseen by the Department of Agriculture. The department notes that in many cases violations are corrected by the restaurant before inspectors leave.

--Egg patty cooker/grill was not being kept clean between cooking cycles and was continually being exposed to raw egg residue.
--Rear kitchen door located in the dry storage area of the food facility has a gap and does not protect against the entry of insects, rodents, and other animals.

--Hamburger patties a TCS food using non-continuous cooking methods was not prepared as required, patties were observed in a semi raw state.
--Observed grills and cooking equipment / pans, in the food prep area, with encrusted grease and soil accumulation both on the sides and around the equipment.
