Roma manager Jose Mourinho gifted Conor McGregor with a club shirt after the pair shared a whiskey or two earlier this week.
The former Chelsea and Manchester United boss took to Instagram to share a snap of hi with the UFC star, who's been out of action since a defeat to Dustin Poirier earlier this year.
Predictably, the whiskey on display in the picture was Conor's own creation, 'Proper Twelve', although it's not know how many glasses Mourinho consumed.

The interaction comes just weeks after Sir Alex Ferguson met up with McGregor's great rival, Khabib Nurmagamedov.
The Russian fighter prevailed by submission in their 2018 UFC bout, after weeks of acrimony and verbal sparring.
Khabib's presence at Old Trafford saw him meet with Sir Alex, where the legendary manager offered his esteemed guest a drink - despite the 33-year-old being a devout Muslim.

That wasn't such a problem on this occasion though, as Mourinho posed willingly with a glass of Irish whiskey.
McGregor also shared photos of the meeting on his Instagram story, writing, "Respect to this man. Legend."

The UFC star did not fly all the way from America to Rome just to meet Mourinho, however.
Before jetting the 33-year-old he wrote: "A lovely Proper Twelve weekend I am going to have. Tonight and tomorrow. Enjoyment. Relaxation. Optimism!
"My last weekend in the U.S before I head to Italy to christen my son Rían in the Vatican and to take delivery of my new Lamborghini yacht too. Fun times!"Featured Image Credit:Topics: Conor Mcgregor, Jose Mourinho, Sir Alex Ferguson, Roma, UFC
