DEPEW — Batavia knew it was in for a tough battle when it went up against former two-time state champion, the Clymer-Sherman-Panama Wolfpack, on Friday night.

After their matchup with Newark/Marion was canceled, the Blue Devils were left searching for a Week 7 opponent. That was until they reached an agreement with the Section VI Class D powerhouse for a game that would take place at a neutral site, somewhere between the two teams’ home fields, which sit over 120 miles apart.
