Back at Jackson State, model Brittany Renner meets with Deion Sanders, football players

Model and author Brittany Renner returned to Jackson State for homecoming this year. 

Renner played women's soccer at JSU. She was the MVP of 2010 SWAC Women's Soccer All-Tournament Team and led Jackson State to a 2-0 win against Mississippi Valley State for a berth in the 2010 NCAA Women's Soccer Tournament. 

On Friday night, Renner posted a photo on Instagram from Jackson State with the caption, "Hey Jackson State! Hide your sons." 

Renner has 4.5 million followers on Instagram.

She also posted on her Instagram story a video hugging Jackson State football coach Deion Sanders while Sanders sits in a golf cart. 

Jackson State football players Daelyn Dunn and Demetri Jordan each shared photos on Instagram of themselves with Renner. 

Jordan included a caption with the photo he shared that said, "She Different @bundleofbrittany." 

Jackson State is scheduled to face Alabama State at 2 p.m. CT on Saturday for the homecoming football game. 

Renner published the book "Judge This Cover" in 2018. 

Renner is a native of Ocean Springs, Mississippi. She played defender for Jackson State women's soccer. In 2010, Renner earned SWAC Freshman of the Year and All-SWAC Second Team honors helping JSU win the SWAC regular season and tournament titles. 

Jackson State enters the matchup 4-1 overall and 2-0 in the SWAC. Most recently, the JSU Tigers defeated Alabama A&M 61-15 on Oct. 9.

The ASU Hornets come into the game 3-2 overall and 2-1 in the SWAC. On Oct. 9, Alabama State beat Arkansas-Pine Bluff 35-15.
