26-year-old dead after hitting tree, light pole near Silver Spring and Fond du Lac

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are investigating a fatal crash that happened near Silver Spring and Fond du Lac on Saturday, Oct. 16.
Police say a 26-year-old Milwaukee woman lost control of her vehicle and then struck a tree and light pole around 12:30 a.m.
Officials say the Milwaukee Fire Department conducted first aid on the victim before she was pronounced dead.
She was the sole occupant of the car.
