What new technology does the 2022 Subaru Ascent now come with for which the Cadillac Escalade just won an award? It’s what customers want most on their new car. Check it out here.

Does the 2022 Subaru Ascent come with new technology customers want? The J.D. Power 2021 U.S. Tech Experience Index (TXI) Study reveals Subaru is in the top five car brands in their latest findings. The Ascent family hauler also offers what the Cadillac Escalade just won an award for; a rearview mirror camera.

Insights from the J.D. Power 2021 U.S. Tech Experience Index (TXI) Study show that new vehicle buyers love camera rearview mirrors and ground view cameras, which receive very high satisfaction scores.

Subaru seems to be hitting the mark in offering technology customers appreciate and want on their next vehicle. In the recent J.D. Power TXI innovation study, Subaru ranks number four among mainstream brands.

The Cadillac Escalade wins the top luxury model for its camera rearview mirror. The Ram 1500 takes the best mainstream model for having the same technology.

Subaru did not receive individual model awards in this year’s J.D. Power tech study, but the 2022 Subaru Outback is the Subaru model that offers a rearview mirror camera. Last year, the Smart Rearview Mirror on the Subaru Ascent earned the highest Execution Index score (894) among luxury owners and the mass market segment with a score of 889.

J.D. Power says, “When technology is effectively executed in a vehicle, it positively influences an owner’s decision to purchase another vehicle equipped with that technology.”

Subaru does not offer the rear-vision camera on the 2022 Forester, 2022 Outback, 2022 Legacy, 2021 Crosstrek, or other models, but they should. The highest execution scores in this year’s J.D. Power U.S. Tech Experience Index study are for the camera rearview mirror, which the 2022 Subaru Ascent offers on upper trim levels.

What is the price of the 2022 Ascent?

The 2022 Subaru Ascent base starts at $33,420, and Premium trims begin at $35,920. The new Ascent Onyx Edition starts at $39,120. The upper Limited starts at $40,720, and the top-trim Touring has a starting MSRP of $46,570. Pricing includes destination fees.

The 2022 Subaru Ascent offers what the luxury Cadillac Escalade just won an award for and reveals the new technology is what new car shoppers will use and want most on their new car.

Hey Darien, I think you've got a typo there.

"Subaru did not receive individual model awards in this year’s J.D. Power tech study, but the 2022 Subaru Outback is the Subaru model that offers a rearview mirror camera"

I reckon you meant the 2022 Subaru Ascent is the Subaru model that offers a rearview mirror camera.
