Atlanta United at Toronto FC: Match Thread and How to Watch

A return to play and a return to Canada for Atlanta United

MLS: Toronto FC at Atlanta United FC Dale Zanine-USA TODAY Sports

With a two week break for international play behind them, the Five Stripes journey back across the border tonight in a visit to Toronto FC. Sitting just one point shy of the seven Eastern Conference playoff positions, Atlanta United seeks to cast out the away game demons that have plagued Gonzalo Pineda’s squad of late.

They’ll get their chance here against next to last place Toronto, who deceivingly are unbeaten in their last four MLS matches. The two sides’ last meeting at Mercedes-Benz Stadium ended 1-0 in Atlanta’s favor, but the team will be hunting for a reassuring result after falling 2-1 to CF Montreal in their last venture.

All the action can be found this evening on Bally Sports Southeast, with kickoff coming at 7:38 PM. Radio coverage can also be found on 92.9 The Game or in Spanish on La Mejor 1600 AM.

Can the Five Stripes climb back into a playoff spot and hit the homestretch running? Before we find out, get prepared with our match preview and predicted lineup, then come back here and join us as we watch together in the match thread below.
