TEEN ACCUSED OF KILLING HIS MOTHER IN NEW DORP
The family of an 18-year-old man who allegedly used his father’s gun to shoot and kill his mother after a dispute in their New Dorp home last Saturday night typically kept to themselves and were private people, neighbors told the Advance/SILive.com.
Adnan Pelinkovic, of the 100 block of Burbank Avenue, has been arrested and charged with murder in the second degree; attempt murder in the second degree; attempted assault in the first degree; criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree, and criminal possession of a firearm, according to a criminal complaint.

S.I. COP ACCUSED OF SHOOTING 2 WOMEN IN BROOKLYN
A police officer from Staten Island has been charged with murder in connection with the fatal shooting of a Concord woman and the wounding of a Brooklyn woman during a domestic dispute involving a possible love triangle gone wrong in Bensonhurst.
Yvonne Wu, 31, who has been an NYPD officer for more than five years, also faces a charge of attempted murder in the fatal encounter on Wednesday around 5 p.m. inside a residence at 7901 19th Ave. near 79th Street, according to statements from the NYPD.

S.I. MAN ARRESTED IN CONN. STABBING
A 24-year-old Staten Island man faces multiple charges after stabbing a Connecticut couple in late September, authorities allege.
Ronald Brooks, a New Brighton resident, allegedly stabbed a 35-year-old man in the chest and caused a laceration to the face of a 33-year-old woman during an altercation in an Essex gas station parking lot on Sept. 20, according to a Connecticut State Police arrest warrant outlining the incident.
Police said Brooks, who was staying with his father in Guilford, Conn., surrendered himself to authorities on Oct. 7, and has been charged with first- and second-degree assault, first-degree attempted assault and carrying a dangerous weapon.

GUILTY PLEA IN ‘DIAMOND ENTERPRISE’ CASE
The Staten Island leader of a racketeering operation dubbed the “Diamond Enterprise” pleaded guilty to multiple charges in Manhattan federal court on Tuesday in connection with underground gambling establishments that propped up a criminal organization under his control.
Abduraman Iseni, 56, who authorities said is a Staten Island resident, pleaded guilty to eight charges including racketeering, money laundering, bank fraud conspiracy, making false statements to a bank, making interstate threats and two gambling offenses.

HE ALLEGEDLY CHOKED WOMAN, FIRED GUN
A 33-year-old man stands accused of assaulting a woman and discharging a gun inside a home on Staten Island, according to a source with knowledge of the investigation.
Jason John was arrested around 1 p.m. Tuesday, according to a statement from the NYPD.
The suspect allegedly choked and repeatedly punched a woman he knew in the face. He allegedly fired a gun in front of the woman and a bullet struck a table and a door, the source said.

MAN, 19, SHOT IN CLIFTON; GRAZE WOUND TO HEAD
A 19-year-old man is in stable condition after being shot late on Wednesday night in Clifton.
Police responded around 10:20 p.m. to a report of a man shot on the 300 block of Vanderbilt Avenue, according to a spokesman for the NYPD.
The victim suffered a graze wound to his head and was taken in stable condition to Staten Island University Hospital in Ocean Breeze, the police spokesman said.

SHOOTING INSIDE STAPLETON HOME
A Brooklyn man shot and wounded a victim inside a Stapleton home last month, prosecutors allege.
Isiah Williams, 29, was busted on Sept. 27 in connection with the alleged Sept. 3 incident.
He was scheduled to be arraigned on Wednesday in state Supreme Court, St. George.
