Genshin Impact version 2.2 will be bringing back a popular mini-game. Way back in Mondstadt, a rhythm mini-game made it to the game. It used to star the Idol Barbara, but this time around, someone else will be taking to the spotlight. Kaedehara Kazuha will be taking the lead role in this new event, which is called Tuned To The World's Sounds Listening.
The event was first revealed during Genshin Impact‘s version 2.2 special program. During the program, miHoYo demonstrated how now the player can pair up with some of their favorite Genshin Impact characters and play music together. These characters include Kazuha, Zhongli, Ningguang, Xiao, Kokomi, Ayaka, and Raiden Shogun. However, it's not yet revealed whether or not it will be required for the player to have them on their roster before they can invite them to play music together. The event will unlock the Floral Zither, Kazuha's gift to the player character, which is a musical instrument essential to this event quest.
The event will require players to complete Osu!-like tracks. Tuned To The World's Sounds Listening will have three difficulty modes available, with higher difficulties giving more rewards. Apart from the Floral Zither, Travelers will also earn Primogems, Mora, Character EXP Materials, and Weapon EXP Materials.
How to play Tuned to the World's Sounds Listening
Tuned to the World's Sounds Listening will be available starting October 15, 2021, up until October 25, 2021. For ten days, players will be able to play tunes with some of their favorite Genshin Impact characters. To start the quest, players will have to at least be at least Adventure Rank 30 and should have completed the Archon Quest “Wishes”. Then, players will have to head back to Liyue and meet with Chief Mate Juza who would then tell the player that Kazuha is looking for them.
The player will then find Kazuha on the outskirts of Liyue. Before heading there, it would be best if the player picks up three Glaze Lilies, as Kazuha will ask for those when you meet with him. He will then explain to the player how he found the Floral Zither. After meeting with him and giving him three Glaze Lilies, you'll be able to play the rhythm game attached to the quest.
Each day, a new location will be unlocked to do the rhythm game, and each location has a new character to play music with. The first one is with Zhongli, where you will play the song “An Old Friend's Send-Off.” Each song will have three difficulties. The rewards for completing each difficulty level is as follows:
- Normal: 60 Primogems and 20,000 Mora
- Hard: 2 Talent-Up Materials and 20,000 Mora
- Pro: 2 Hero's Wits and 20,000 Mora
Do note that you will have to reach a high enough score to receive the rewards. Scoring high on Pro Mode on the last day's song will also give 2,250 experience points for the battle pass. A new song gets unlocked each day, but you can play the songs any day. That means you can complete Tuned To The World's Sounds Listening if you have enough time on the last day of the event. when all of the songs have already been unlocked.
