Candlelight Processional Returns to Disneyland & Walt Disney World this Holiday Season!

We have a good bit of holiday cheer for you. Disneyland WILL hold its Candlelight Processional this year, which has bee a holiday tradition in the park since 1958. While there are no specifics just yet, the event will be held on December 4th and 5th in Town Square at Disneyland in 2021. 

Walt Disney World has also confirmed their event for this year from November 26th through December 30th but will be conducting it a bit differently this year with an expanded Disney employee choir and no guest choirs.  We suspect that Disneyland will follow a similar example since all Disney Company employees must now be vaccinated.  

Guest narrators confirmed for the Walt Disney World nights are (more names will be announced soon):

• Chita Rivera (Broadway actress) – November 29 through December 1st
• Jodi Benson (The Little Mermaid, Enchanted) – December 2 through December 4th
• Alton Fitzgerald White (The Lion King on Broadway) – December 5 through December 7th
• Lisa Ling (This is Life with Lisa Ling, The View on ABC) – December 11 through December 13th
• Steven Curtis Chapman (musician) – December 23 through December 25th
• Blair Underwood (L.A. Law, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.) – December 26 through December 28th
• Pat Sajak (Wheel of Fortune, Muppets Haunted Mansion) – December 29 through December 30th

Disneyland has not announced this year’s narrator, that is usually a closely held secret until the celebrity steps on stage.
