The OnePlus Watch Harry Potter Edition seems set for launch, starting in India

OnePlus' Indian division has summoned the attention of "a generation that still remembers magic" for an upcoming launch. This is as strong a hint as any that it has a new limited edition of its inaugural Watch to showcase soon. This wearable is known for having a Cyberpunk 2077-inspired variant; however, the next one is almost definitely from a very different franchise.

The OEM has been said to have a Harry Potter Edition of its Watch in the works; now, it looks as though the BBK Electronics brand has decided to go ahead with this idea. OnePlus has hyped the new version with what seems to be a shot of its exclusive band. It seems to be in brown leather, rather than the fluoroelastomer strap found on the standard Watch, with what looks very like a Hogwarts crest stamped into it.

Whether this band is genuine leather or vegan like that of the Cobalt premium edition remains to be seen. Otherwise, the newer themed variant is projected to turn out much like the original OnePlus Watch, with a 1.39-inch AMOLED display, SpO2 monitoring and 110 workout modes.

On the other hand, there is also a leaked image showing what could be new, appropriately-styled faces floating around out there. OnePlus has yet to conjure a launch date for the new kind of Watch, besides to hint that it is "coming soon".
