DOUGLAS COUNTY, Ore. — A traveling clinic featuring covid vaccines, testing, booster shots, and flu shots has arrived in Douglas County.
The clinic has been traveling to counties all over the state since March.
The supplies and personnel come from FEMA in order to support the counties.
Many people have been using the clinic to get their booster and flu shots. It's possible to get both shots at the same time, in the same arm even.
"I think overall we've been well received," said Timothy Hall. "I think people understand that we're trying to be here and part of the solution. Whether you agree or disagree with the whole prospect of getting vaccinated, they see that we're out here for the people that want it."
The clinic will be across the street from the Roseburg Library until the 22nd. Then it will travel out to Reedsport from November 2nd to the 7th.
