PORT NECHES —
A Port Neches mother is thanking the Southeast Texas community for its support after her 15-year-old son suffered a traumatic head injury Thursday during a football game.

Noah Jackson was injured after after a helmet to helmet hit.
The junior varsity football player is recovering at a Houston hospital after undergoing emergency surgery on his brain.
The player's mother spoke about the frightening moment on the field when her son was injured.
