Wilmington – On Thursday, October 7, 2021 at approximately 10:55 p.m., Quinn P. Annable, 20 years old from Newark, Delaware was observed by Correctional Officers in his cell suffering from a medical emergency. Correctional Officers immediately conducted life-saving measures, including CPR. New Castle County Emergency Medical Services arrived, continued life-saving measures, and transported Annable to Christiana Hospital in critical condition. On Tuesday October 12, 2021 at 7:17 a.m., Quinn Annable was pronounced dead and was turned over to the Delaware Division of Forensic Science to determine the cause and manner of death.

Today, Friday October 15, 2021, the investigation into the death of Quinn P. Annable has concluded. Through the investigation and autopsy, it has been determined there was no foul play involved.

Out of respect for the family, details surrounding the incident will not be released.
