Body of Iowa boy missing since May found, positively identified

(ABC 6 News) – The Poweshiek County Sheriff’s Office said Friday night that a body found late last month has been identified as Xavior Harrelson.

Xavior was reported missing from his home in Montezuma on May 27th of this year. According to the sheriff’s office, the body was found on September 30th in a rural area three miles northwest of Montezuma.

The Iowa State Medical Examiner’s office notified the sheriff’s office Friday that the remains had positively been identified as Xavior. The cause of death has not been released.
