Jackrabbit volleyball will take on Omaha Saturday afternoon in a matchup of reigning Summit League Players of the Week Tatum Pickar and Sadie Limback.

SERIES HISTORY
The Mavericks lead the all-time series 35-20 and hold an 8-2 advantage in the last 10 meetings. The Jacks and Mavs split last season's contents 1-1.

Crystal Burk and Akeela Jefferson led the Jacks to a 3-0 win the last time these squads met. Burk tallied 13 kills and Akeela Jefferson aded 11. Tatum Pickar notched a team-high 25 and Carly Wedel dished out 32 assists.

SCOUTING THE MAVERICKS
Omaha was handed its first Summit League loss Thursday night with a five-set defeat to South Dakota. Prior to the defeat, UNO was 6-0 in conference action and dropped just one set last week in wins over Oral Roberts, North Dakota and North Dakota State.

Mariah Buss had 16 kills in the Maverick loss and Sadie Limback added 12. Sami Clarkson gave out 44 assists and Jordan Centeno tallied 31 digs.

Limback ranks second in the Summit League with 3.74 kills per set and ranks fifth in the conference with a .326 attack rate. Clarkson has given out 682 assists this season and 10.49 assists per set, which is second in the Summit.

Claire Mountjoy averages 4.52 digs, ranking fourth on the Summit chart.

THE JACKRABBITS
SDSU was swept by Denver Thursday night to move to 12-7 on the season and 4-4 in Summit League action.

Crystal Burk leads the Summit League with 3.83 kills per set. Chloe Stitt is also on that list, averaging 2.93 kills per set for eighth. Sydney Andrews is the most efficient Jackrabbit attacker with a .316 attack rate and ranks seventh in the League.

Carly Wedel gives out 9.74 assists per set, ranking fourth in the Summit League. Tatum Pickar paces the Jacks' back row with 3.91 digs per set and is sixth in the Summit. Faith Saewert adds a 2.41 average and Burk is just behind with 2.39 digs per set. Ella Thompson tallies 1.00 blocks per set and sits eighth in the Summit League.

LAST TIME OUT
South Dakota State's three-match win streak ended Thursday night a 3-0 loss to the Denver Pioneers. Denver won by set scores of 25-11, 25-22, 25-19 at Hamilton Gymnasium.
 
Denver notched nine service aces in the contest with six in the first set alone. SDSU did not have any ace serves.

Crystal Burk and Denver's Tina Boe led all players with 11 kills each. Elyse Winter and Chloe Stitt had six kills each. Winter also took part in three blocks.

Tatum Pickar paced State with seven digs and Jasmine Weidemann and Carly Wedel combined for 20 total assists.

South Dakota State was held to just 26 kills and a .098 hitting percentage, both season lows.

Following Saturday's match SDSU will be off until Friday when it hosts South Dakota at Frost Arena.
