American Horror Story Season 10 Episode 10 will air next week. And we've got everything that you need to know ahead of Wednesday night's finale episode.

What Is The Plot For American Horror Story Season 10 Episode 10?

American Horror Story Season 10 Episode 10, titled The Future Perfect, will center on exactly that – the future. However, it's not as perfect as it seems.

After all, audiences already know that the aliens that infiltrated the Earth are looking for the perfect hybrid specimen. Unfortunately, nine episodes have already passed, but the aliens still haven't found the perfect hybrid.

So, it's highly likely for the aliens to speed up their search in the finale episode.

There are also predictions that one of the four college students introduced in Death Valley could be the carrier of the perfect hybrid specimen.

Elsewhere in American Horror Story Season 10 Episode 10, Mamie (Sarah Paulson) will take matters into her own hands.

In the previous episodes, President Eisenhower (Neal McDonough) didn't want Mamie to get involved because he was protective of her.

But after the president fails to make the best decisions for humankind, Mamie will finally step in.

Paulson's huge rule in the finale episode isn't a surprise. After all, she's been a favorite of series creator Ryan Murphy.

Is There A Trailer For American Horror Story Season 10 Episode 10?

FX just dropped the official trailer for American Horror Story Season 10 Episode 10.

The 30-second clip shows Eisenhower lying on the hospital bed and talking to his wife. He tells her that the aliens are in control.

In the next scene, Valiant Thor (Cody Fern) tells Mamie that creation is complex, but the latter argues with him.

Since Death Valley took place decades ago, Valiant Thor's cryptic final words hit a chord. After all, he says that the perfect hybrid specimen may finally exist in 2021.

It is important to note that the four college students are featured in the present-day timeline, so one of them may be the carrier of the perfect hybrid specimen.

When Will American Horror Story Season 10 Episode 10 Air?

American Horror Story Season 10 Episode 10 will air on Wednesday, Oct. 20, at 10 p.m. EDT on FX.

Following next week's finale episode, American Horror Story will take an extended break before it returns for Season 11 sometime next year.

Earlier this year, FX announced its decision to renew American Horror Story for three more seasons, which means that Seasons 11 to 13 will be between 2022 and 2025.

Before the official announcement, Murphy hinted at the possibility of American Horror Story ending after Season 10.

"We're working on an idea for season 10 that I think people will love because it's about reuniting fan-favorite actors to come back—because it might be our last season. It's the last season we have contracted. So, I've been quietly reaching out to various people. Some people I haven't reached out to yet because I was like ‘Do I have a role for them?' So far, everybody I reached out to said ‘Yes', so that's been great," Murphy told Deadline.

Will Sarah Paulson Return To American Horror Story Season 11?

As of late, Murphy and FX have not yet confirmed Paulson's return to American Horror Story Season 11. But the actress has been part of the series since its inception in 2011.

Last month, Paulson said that American Horror Story Season 10 could be her last.

"It's the first time in about three years where I don't know. I think this is my last season of Horror Story, probably. I mean, I don't know. Every time he comes to me with some wackadoodle-stoodle character, I tend to be like, ‘Yes! Let's do it!' So, I don't know. This is the first time. So, we'll see," she told Us Weekly.
