Disturbance: Alpha Drive

After a heated dodgeball match at Skyzone Oct. 9, several youths, ages 13-15, got into a confrontation in which one threatened to assault another.

Reports indicate there was also a reference made to “shooting the place up.”

Responding officers worked with management and the parents of those involved to help adjust the situation.

Theft from auto: Eastlawn Drive

A resident reported Oct. 5 that his locked vehicle was entered by way of a partially opened window and tools, keys and documents were stolen from it.

Property damage: East Glengary Circle

A resident found a broken garage window at his home Oct. 5 and believed it had been struck by a golf ball from the neighboring golf course.

Harassing communication: Gloucester Drive

A resident said Oct. 7 that his 17-year-old daughter was being harassed over social media by her classmates. It was determined that any incidents would have occurred in Mayfield Village. The man was referred to that agency.

Special attention was given to the family’s house.

General assistance: Bishop Road

A woman said Oct. 9 that her ex-boyfriend is a drug addict and has been stealing packages from his place of work at UPS. She also said the Willoughby man, 32, was harassing her via phone and text messages.

Officers advised they would follow up with UPS on the theft claims and advised the woman to contact Willoughby police regarding any harassment issues with the man.

Juvenile complaint: Legacy Drive

A resident reported at 11:49 p.m. Oct. 9 that her vehicle was cut off by an SUV that was occupied by some youths. She said she followed the vehicle and saw the occupants carrying alcohol into a home.

Responding officers found no evidence of underage drinking at the home.

General assistance: Rose Boulevard

A resident reported Oct. 11 that her vehicle was entered overnight, and the contents of the glovebox and center console were emptied onto the seats and floor.

She said there was nothing of value missing and claimed the vehicle was locked, but officers found no signs of forced entry.
