I am one of the few Liverpool FC supporters who are not worried about Trent Alexander Arnold being scouted by Real Madrid.

Believe me, five years ago if an established club came knocking for a start player at Liverpool like they did for Luis Suarez and Philippe Coutinho, I’d be sweating. But now, NO WAY!

Jurgen Klopp has assembled a team that wants to play together and play for each other.

If you come to think of it, we’ve contracted down the entire spine which is great. In addition to that, this is a team that seems to want to stay together and win together.

There are rumors that Real Madrid will swoop in at the end of the 2022 season and apparently Liverpool will not listen to offers less than £64m for the 23-year-old. I believe those reports are incorrect.

That statement should eventually read, ‘Liverpool will not listen to offers.’

It is no doubt that Trent will be an asset to any football team in the world. His numbers are phenomenal, and he has rightly been compared to the greatest players ever to have played in his position.

Real Madrid has however gotten one thing wrong; Trent is Liverpool born and bred and playing for Liverpool Football Club is his dream come true.

There is no way that this move is happening.

So, do not believe these rumours. Just like 'corner taken quickly' let us see this 'rumour go away quickly' too! (Sorry for the horrible comparison!)
