App Store Legend, Tiny Wings, is Now Available for Download on the Apple Arcade

The classic iOS game Tiny Wings has been added to the Apple Arcade this week. The simple one-tap game has been at the top of iOS mobile games for quite some time as it is easy to learn and does not take much commitment to play a game or two. Because of its exceeding popularity, Tiny Wings now costs $1.99 to play on the App Store. However, those with an Apple Arcade account will have the option to play for no extra charge other than the initial subscription.

Tiny Wings was first released in 2011, which means the game is now 10 years old. However, this game has stood the test of time. Players are still enjoying today sliding down rolling hills and collecting coins. Tiny Wings has maintained its top chart status as it ranks #3 in casual games on the App Store.

The game developer Andreas Illiger announced the addition of Tiny Wings to the Apple Arcade one month ago on September 15th, 2021, and the game was received with quite a bit of excitement.

The new version is called Tiny Wings+ and will no longer require any in-app purchases to unlock new content within the game. Full access will be available to Apple Arcade subscribers.

The addition of Tiny Wings to the Apple Arcade is part of a greater strategical movement of well-known App Store classics onto the Apple Arcade. Other additions that have been added include Angry Birds, Crossy Road, Jetpack Joyride, Fruit Ninja and Cut the Rope as well as many others. This new category of older popular games is called App Store Greats. If you want unlimited access to all of these games as well as countless others, you may want to consider purchasing an Apple Arcade account. They are available for $4.99 a month with an additional one-month free trial. Download Tiny Wings+ now!
