Colts Injury Report: K Blankenship, RT Smith and DE Turay Ruled OUT While CB Rhodes Is QUESTIONABLE

NFL: Indianapolis Colts at Baltimore Ravens Tommy Gilligan-USA TODAY Sports

The Indianapolis Colts today released their final injury report for Week 6 of the NFL season ahead of their Sunday game.

Kicker Rodrigo Blankenship has been ruled OUT for Sunday’s game. Blankenship injured his right hip against the Ravens and will miss Sunday’s game. In his absence the Colts signed Michael Badgley who will be promoted from the practice squad to kick Sunday.

Safety Andrew Sendejo has been ruled OUT for Sunday’s game. Sendejo suffered a concussion against the Ravens and will miss this Sunday’s game. Sendejo is a primary backup at the safety position and filled in for Khari Willis previously.

Right tackle Braden Smith has been ruled OUT for Sunday’s game. Smith injured himself in week one and has yet to return. It looks like another start for either Matthew Pryor or Julién Davenport at the right tackle position this week.

Defensive end Kemoko Turay has been ruled OUT for Sunday’s game. Turay injured his groin against the Ravens and has been unable to practice this week. Turay had been taking on a larger role with Kwity Paye missing out through injury. Paye’s return will lessen the blow of Turay being out this week.

Running back Jordan Wilkins has been ruled OUT for Sunday’s game with a non-football illness. Wilkins will miss his second game in a row this week. Wilkins is a key back up and core special teamer and will be missed again this week.

Cornerback Xavier Rhodes is officially QUESTIONABLE for Sunday’s game. Rhodes suffered a concussion against the Ravens but looks to have a real shot at playing Sunday. Rhodes missed practice on Wednesday but had progressed well throughout the week managing to practice fully today. Rhodes should only have to pass a few final concussion protocol checks to be cleared to play Sunday.
