Krebs was sent down to AHL Henderson on Friday.
Krebs recorded two hits, one shot and a minus-2 rating in the first two games of the season while averaging 13:20 of ice time. Given the Golden Knights don't play again until Wednesday's clash with the Blues, Krebs' demotion could simply be a cap-saving move that will see him brought back up closer to puck drop.
