  2. McCall: 'To score six in any game is pleasing'

FT: Hamilton Academical 1-6 Partick Thistle

Speaking to BBC Scotland, Partick Thistle manager Ian McCall was delighted with the whole team's performance this evening.

He said: "To win 6-1 in any game is pleasing. I thought the first half was even and Hamilton came into it. I told my players at half-time to just be more precise in the second half

"We scored good goals but we’re disappointed to lose one at the end though.

"Great win for our supporters too. I said at the start of the season we might not win anything this campaign but we will score an awful lot of goals."

  3. Elsewhere this evening...

FT: Edinburgh City 2-3 Kelty Hearts

Kelty Hearts got their fourth consecutive league win tonight having dispatched Edinburgh City 3-2.

It is Edinburgh City's first loss in five league games.

They currently sit five points ahead at the summit of League Two, having played a game extra than the other sides.

  4. Clean sheet would have been key

FT: Hamilton Academical 1-6 Partick Thistle

Had Thistle managed to hang on for a clean sheet they would have been third in the league.

The late consolation they conceded has them sitting fourth instead of third at full time.

  5. FULL-TIME: Hamilton Academical 1-6 Partick Thistle

A truly remarkable second half for Thistle.

One to forget for Hamilton Academical.

Brian Graham is the undoubted man of the match but a special mention to Scott Tiffoney and Zak Rudden too who were electric at times.

The full-time whistle can't come quick enough for Hamilton now.

The game has calmed down slightly but it is beyond a foregone conclusion.

  8. GREAT SAVE!

    Hamilton Academical 0-6 Partick Thistle

Jamie Sneddon somehow keeps his clean sheet intact.

The ball drops from a corner and is ferociously smashed at him from 6 yards out by Andy Ryan.

  9. Post update

    Hamilton Academical 0-6 Partick Thistle

    Rory Loy

    Former Rangers & Dunfermline forward

Quote Message: A big part for Thistle now will be their clean sheet. They'll be delighted if they can keep that intact.
  10. Post update

    Hamilton Academical 0-6 Partick Thistle

Partick Thistle are officially having fun now.

Hamilton's defence looks non-existent, never mind wide open in this half.

A completely different looking side from the one who got three points against Inverness.

  11. GOAL Hamilton 0-6 Partick Thistle

    Brian Graham

My laptop can barely keep up with this nevermind Hamilton's defence.

The ball smashes of the post and falls to Brian Graham who is a yard out.

Exactly where you want your striker to be.

  12. GOAL Hamilton 0-5 Partick Thistle

    Connor Murray

Who saw this coming at half-time?

Connor Murray breaks away from just inside Accies half and slots it home in a composed manner for his first of the season.

  13. No way through for Accies

    Hamilton Academical 0-4 Partick Thistle

Accies manage to string a few passes together and make their way into the opposition's box.

Both of their shots were blocked by Thistle defenders which has been the story of Hamilton's evening.

  14. Post update

    Hamilton Academical 0-4 Partick Thistle

The game has sparked into life since the interval.

The scoreline speaks for itself and it's been all Partick Thistle.

Andy Ryan has looked incredibly isolated for Accies tonight and his frustration certainly boiled over there.

  15. Post update

    Hamilton Academical 0-4 Partick Thistle

Hamilton have lost their heads a touch here.

A meaty challenge from Andy Ryan in the middle of the park sees Hamilton players clashing with their opponents right in front of the technical area.

Ian McCall was briefly on the pitch too.

  16. GOAL Hamilton 0-4 Partick Thistle

    Scott Tiffoney

Another assist for Brian Graham as he plays a neat one-two with Scott Tiffoney on the edge of the box.

Tiffoney finishes clinically on the half-volley.

    Hamilton Academical 0-3 Partick Thistle

Quote Message: Accies mounted an impressive comeback earlier in the season against Raith Rovers. I can't see a repeat tonight, however.
  18. GOAL Hamilton 0-3 Partick Thistle

    Zak Rudden

Surely that's all three points now for Thistle?

A lovely, composed finish in the middle of a congested box from Zak Rudden after the ball was played to him by Brian Graham.

    Partick Thistle goal
  19. Thistle's dynamic duo

    Hamilton Academical 0-2 Partick Thistle

    Rory Loy

    Former Rangers & Dunfermline forward

Quote Message: In this league, the pair of Graham and Rudden up front really do have the capability to trouble anyone. They're big, physical and intelligent.
  20. GOAL Hamilton 0-2 Partick Thistle

    Brian Graham

Richard Foster plays a pass down the line to Scott Tiffoney who plays an exquisite pass to the back post for Brian Graham who has a tap in.

10th goal of the season for Graham, his sixth in the league.

Is there any way back for Accies now?
