Tulsa Women’s Soccer Team hosts East Carolina on Sunday

The Tulsa women's soccer team returns to action on Sunday, October 17 beginning at 12:00 pm at the Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium. 
 
Tickets are $5 general admission and can be purchased at the north ticket gate, online at TulsaHurricane.com/tickets or by calling the TU Athletic Ticket Office at 918.631.4688. 
 
TU has a 6-7-1 overall record and a 1-4 mark in The American, but are looking to bounce back after falling to both #18 Memphis and UCF last week.  Isold Runarsdottir has a team-best six goals, while Megan Nielsen has four scores, Mia Darden and Liliana Fernandez both have two scores, and six others have one goal.  Emma Malsy has logged 661 minutes between the posts, picked up 29 saves for a 0.674 saves percentage and allowed 14 goals for a 1.90 goals-against average, while Raegan Beeding has played 648 minutes between the posts, recorded 36 saves for a 0.818 saves percentage and allowed eight goals for a 1.11 GAA.
 
East Carolina has a 7-7-1 overall record, including a 2-2-1 mark in The American and are on a four-game unbeaten streak.  The Pirates are led by Haley McWhirter with four goals, while Tori Riggs has three scores, four others have two goals and three have one score.  Maeve English has played the majority of minutes in goal, picked up 61 saves for a 0.753 saves percentage and allowed 20 goals for a 1.28 GAA.
 
ECU has a 9-5-1 lead in the all-time series over Tulsa.
