FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – New England Revolution II (11-10-4, 34 pts.) will begin a three-game road trip on Saturday when they travel to face Greenville Triumph SC (10-7-8, 38 pts.) for the second meeting this season. The match kicks off at 7:00 p.m. ET on ESPN+.

Revolution II earned a fourth victory in its last five contests on Tuesday afternoon, closing their home slate with a 1-0 win over Forward Madison FC. Justin Rennicks tallied the lone goal of the night in the ninth minute, with Maciel claiming his first professional assist. Goalkeeper Joe Rice tallied three saves to preserve his eighth shutout of the season and the team’s 10th clean sheet. Former Revolution Academy midfielder Meny Silva picked up his first professional start in Tuesday’s match as well.

Revolution II sits in fourth place in the USL League One standings following last week’s results. In a tight race for the postseason, which will feature the league’s top-six teams, just six points separate third through eighth place in the table. New England will play its final three remaining contests on the road, including back-to-back games at playoff contenders this Saturday at third-place Greenville and next Saturday at seventh-place North Texas SC (8:30 p.m.).

Saturday will mark New England’s first trip to South Carolina in team history, having faced Greenville Triumph SC at home in their two prior meetings. Revolution II earned the team’s first-ever win against Greenville on Aug. 26, 2020. In this year’s lone meeting at Gillette Stadium on July 4, Greenville earned a 3-0 win thanks to a hat trick by leading scorer Marios Lomis.

Greenville is coming off a massive result last Saturday night, defeating first-place Union Omaha on the road, 1-0. Lomis scored his 13th goal of the season, second-most in USL League One this year, while goalkeeper Paul Christensen recorded two saves for his fourth clean sheet of the season.

WHAT TO WATCH FOR: Here are a few top storylines to watch on Saturday:

  • Midfielder Noel Buck adding to his five goals, second most on the team, as he prepares to make his 26th appearance of the season. The 16-year-old, along with defender Ryan Spaulding, is one of two players to have appeared in every match this season.
