Fraud: East River Road
A resident called police at 6:11 p.m. Oct. 13 to say that someone had taken a credit card from his mailbox and activated it, charging $1,100. He was refunded that money.
However, he had just seen the thief walking on Sprague Road toward Columbia Road. The caller said the woman is in her 30s and has blond hair and a long-sleeve tattoo on her arm. He recognized her from a video he viewed when she used his card.
She was with a man who is in his 40s and has neck and leg tattoos. He was riding a bicycle at that time.
He said they drive a car that is missing the right passenger rear hubcaps. He believes they live in the area.
Theft: Columbia Road
An officer spoke to a resident Oct. 8 about a theft from her car that occurred Sept. 29.
Welfare check: Columbia Road
Police received a call at 8:11 p.m. Oct. 8 about adults walking on the railroad tracks. The group was advised to stay off the tracks.
Parked car: Bagley Road
An officer checked on a parked car at 12:49 a.m. Oct. 9. There were about four or five teens playing on the basketball court. They were advised of park hours.
Disturbance: Mill Street
Police received a complaint at 10:08 p.m. Oct. 9 that a wedding was still playing loud music. An officer advised the celebrators about the situation. They were shutting down the festivities for the night.
Reckless operation: Columbia Road
Police received a complaint at 10:23 p.m. Oct. 9 about motorcycles doing “burn-outs” in a parking lot. The two motorcyclists had left the area upon an officer’s arrival.
Noise disturbance: Cranage Road
A resident called at 7:38 a.m. Oct. 10 to say that construction workers on a Clark Street house already had equipment running. The caller would like the early-morning noise to stop. The caller said the beeper on the backhoe was really loud.
An officer arrived and found that the crew had already loaded up the equipment and were on their way.
Traffic stop: Lindbergh Boulevard
An officer at 10 a.m. Oct. 11 cited a motorist for speeding.
Suspicious car: Devonshire Drive
A resident wanted to talk to an officer at 3:29 p.m. Oct. 11 about a car that has parked near his home the last few days. When the resident asked the driver what he was doing, he said, “Realtor stuff.”
Traffic stop: Falls Pointe Drive
An officer cited two motorists for speeding during the morning of Oct. 12.
Traffic stop: Cranage Road
A motorist received a citation for speeding at 11:30 a.m. Oct. 12.
