On Thursday, a pedestrian suffered injuries after being hit by a vehicle near East Charleston Boulevard and Lamb Boulevard.

As per the initial information, the auto-pedestrian accident took place at about 9 p.m. near East Charleston Boulevard and Lamb Boulevard. The preliminary investigation indicated that a vehicle hit a pedestrian for reasons that are yet to be known.

According to the officials, the pedestrian was conscious and responsive before being taken to the hospital. The injuries received by the victim are life-threatening, authorities mentioned. The pedestrian is currently awake, speaking, and receiving treatment. No other details are immediately available.
