Susana Saenz, age 88 of LaPlace, LA and formerly of Perry, passed away on Sunday, October 10, 2021, at the Ochsner Foundation – Main Campus in Jefferson, LA. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 16, 2021, at 3:00 p.m. at the Carris Family Funeral Home & Cremation Care in Perry. Visitation will be on Saturday, October 16, 2021, from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the Carris Family Funeral Home & Cremation Care in Perry. Her family asks that everyone to wear face coverings and practice social distancing while attending visitation and services. Susana Saenz was born on March 23, 1933, at Morazan El Salvador to Francisco Martinez and Paula Saenz. She was a member of the Cristo Viene, Perry, IA. She loved hand sewing dresses, including the dress she is currently wearing. She enjoyed cooking for any and all occasions for her family. Susana liked working in her garden growing flowers and vegetables.

Left to cherish Susana’s memory are her sons, Rene (Xiomara) Saenz, Felix Santos Saenz, and Juan R. Saenz, daughters, Beatriz Saenz, and Ana Saenz, many grandchildren, many great grandchildren, and many.
