'The Exorcist: Believer' Comes to Digital, But When Will It Be on Peacock?
Needle in a Timestack, a new movie that is now available to watch on-demand, had the unfortunate honor of being a Twitter main character this week. Admittedly, Needle in a Timestack is a somewhat silly name for the new time travel romance, and yes, the trailer was a tad melodramatic. But you know Twitter: It loves to turn things that are mildly funny at best into full-blown memes.
But the thing is, this sci-fi romance—directed by John Ridley, best known for his Oscar-winner 12 Years A Slave—actually looks fascinating, and it comes with a talented cast. Leslie Odom Jr. stars as a man desperately trying to hold onto his wife, played by Cynthia Erivo, while her ex-husband (Orlando Bloom), tries to get her back. But there’s a twist: Orlando Bloom is using time travel to make it so Odom Jr. and Erivo never met.
