A 40-year-old man was killed Thursday night in a crash at a south Orange County intersection, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The man was driving a sedan at 11:15 p.m. north on Orange Avenue approaching Town Center Boulevard, said the FHP’s Lt. Kim Montes.
For an unknown reason, a 30-year-old man driving a pickup south on Orange entered the northbound lanes and struck the sedan head on, Montes said.
The truck overturned. Both men were transported to the hospital.
The 40-year-old died at Osceola Regional Hospital, Montes said.
The truck driver received minor injuries.
Troopers are still investigating the crash.
