Rast Sound has announced the release of its new audio plugin SyncPlay, a new and intuitive way to perform/compose music with loops and your keyboard.

“Developing musical ideas with this instrument is engaging, offering a whole new way to create gestures with patterns.”

SyncPlay allows you to drag and drop loops to up to 6 tracks and play them with your keyboard, with all loops synced to your bpm with a world class time-pitch scaling algorithm. You can chop the loops and speed them up or slow them down.

A collection of 7 loop mangling effects are included and each track has controls for pitch, gain, attack, release, bipolar filter and add send fx (reverb & delay). Keyboard performances are recorded to MIDI so they can be replayed, edited and recorded. You can also trigger SyncPlay with an arpeggiator.

Available in VST3 and AU plugin formats for Windows and Mac, SyncPlay is on sale for the introductory price of 49 EUR until November 5th, 2021 (regular 79 EUR).
