Google Shared More Galaxy Z Fold 3 & Z Flip 3 Ads

Google recently posted three videos showcasing the features of the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and the Z Flip 3. The company is now taking this further with the addition of a dedicated landing page for the two foldables at unfold.withgoogle.com.

The company also unveiled a one-minute video ad on YouTube demonstrating the myriad abilities of foldable screens. Another shorter video spanning 15 seconds shows the true multitasking capabilities of the Galaxy Z Fold 3 (via).

Google and Samsung are clearly partnering in a big way for the new foldables, although its extent is currently unknown. The aforementioned landing page has a headline saying “The future is unfolding.”

There are dedicated links for the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and the Z Flip 3. Users will also find sections detailing the features of each phone in greater length. These include Highlights, Watch, Work, Play, Experience for the Galaxy Z Fold 3. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Z Flip 3 page replaces Watch, Work, Play with Connect, Create, Explore.

Google’s landing page for the two phones also contains links to buy the devices

Moreover, there are dedicated Buy Now buttons for both phones with links to AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and Samsung’s online store. The Google Fi carrier option is only available with the Galaxy Z Flip 3, however. Google also takes the opportunity to promote some of its newer features like YouTube Shorts with the Galaxy Z Flip 3.

This is a beneficial arrangement for both parties. While Samsung can access the marketing prowess of Google, the latter gets to promote its productivity and entertainment apps, including the likes of Google Duo and other Workspace offerings.

So what does this all mean for Google? We’ve encountered rumors about the company’s intentions to launch a foldable device of its own in the near future. This device is currently known as the “Pixel Fold.”

We’ve seen references to this rumored foldable device, internally called “Passport,” within the Android 12 code. This suggests that the company certainly has plans for a foldable device.

A report from last month further indicated that Google could launch the Pixel Fold by the end of 2021. Older reports also talked about the new foldable device launching alongside the Pixel 6, but that seems very unlikely now.
