The Alabama football team is scheduled to make the trip to Starkville to face the Mississippi State Bulldogs for a Southeastern Conference contest on Saturday, Oct. 16.
The game is set to start at 6 p.m. CT at Davis Wade Stadium.
Alabama, ranked No. 5 in both the USA TODAY Sports AFCA Coaches Poll and The Associated Press Top 25 Poll, comes into the game 5-1 overall and 2-1 in the SEC. Most recently, the Crimson Tide were shocked by Texas A&M 41-38 on Oct. 9.
Mississippi State enters the matchup 3-2 overall and 1-1 in the SEC. On Oct. 2, the Bulldogs beat Texas A&M 26-22.
Alabama leads the all-time series vs. Mississippi State 85-17-3, dating back to 1896. Most recently, the Crimson Tide beat the Bulldogs 41-0 on Oct. 31, 2020.
