The New York Rangers dropped their second straight game of the season this evening as they were defeated 3-2 in overtime. New York fell behind early in this game, but eventually found a way to fight back with goals coming from Adam Fox and Chris Kreider. Igor Shesterkin got the start for the home opener and turned aside 23 of the 26 shots he faced.
