ROME, Ga. - Angel Le and Arianna Castellanos played their final matches today to close out an excellent fall season, winning their final match at the ITA Cup on Friday at the Rome Tennis Center.

Le, unfortunately, had to withdraw from her second singles match on Thursday and did so to focus on preparing for a strong doubles finish. The move paid dividends as the duo split their final two matches, the second and final one a 1-6, 6-1, 11-9 win over Kenyon.

"It felt great to end on a win," said head coach John Hein. "They really deserved more than just the one win but the field is so strong and the margins for error so small. We saw growth from Angel in singles from last year's NCAA Nationals and, as a doubles team, she and Arianna know they belong and know what to practice to be even better this spring."

Le, Castellanos and the rest of the Blues now look ahead to the spring championship season.
