With the game due to release less than a month from now, Call of Duty: Vanguard has finally unveiled its highly anticipated Zombies mode in a brand new trailer.

Picking up the Dark Aether storyline first introduced in Black Ops Cold War, the new Zombies mode for Vanguard will bring players back to World War II a year after the Battle of Stalingrad, where a defeated Nazi officer by the name of Oberführer Wolfram Von List discovers an otherwordly artifact that binds him to a Dark Aether entity named Kortifex. The new bond allows him to summon an army of undead foes, and your mission, of course, is to stop him and his zombies along with three of your friends.

Perhaps most importantly for players, the experience you earn within Zombies mode will carry over to your Battle Pass for Vanguard, which also shares progression with both regular multiplayer modes as well as Warzone, making sure you’ll be able to access your upgrades no matter what mode you’re playing. Zombies will also have cross-play between various consoles and PC, so don’t worry if you’re on a different system than your friends.

For fans of the franchise, Call of Duty: Vanguard will launch on November 5 for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.

Elsewhere in gaming, 100 Thieves is celebrating its acquisition of Higround with a special gorpcore capsule.
