Real Madrid Transfers: Karim Benzema keeps working hard to ‘wink’ at Kylian Mbappe

Real Madrid‘s top transfer target is Kylian Mbappe, and it has been Mbappe for years now. The 2022 summer transfer window will be their opportunity to land the PSG superstar, as the Parisians stand to lose the most valuable player in the world for free.

Mbappe dreams of Real, which PSG had already known about throughout those years. But instead of selling him for a big fee this past summer, the Qatar-owned club stood firm.

Mbappe is standing firm, too. He has not signed a new contract with PSG and made his stance clear in public, via an interview with RMC Sport.

For their part, Real Madrid have not hidden their public interest in Mbappe either, which is a fact that has irked PSG sporting director Leonardo. The man with the worst haircut in football can talk all he wants, but Real will not be punished for no reason. Not even by the UEFA overlords whom PSG have in the bag.

Karim Benzema clearly wants Kylian Mbappe as much as we do

No, Real Madrid will keep on talking about Mbappe, especially his close teammate on the French national team, Karim Benzema.

One of the Ballon d’Or frontrunners and the man who scored the best goal in the UEFA Nations League (as champion, no less), Benzema recently gave an interview with RTVE Deportes where he gave another nod to Mbappe.

Benzema did not go into depth and held back, so Leonardo can’t lose his head again. But Benz did remark that he has always says he hopes to play with Mbappe at Real Madrid. And surely, he isn’t the only player at the club dreaming of working with the most lethal attacking player on the planet.

Karim Benzema has been dubbed “Agent Karim” by Madridistas in 2021 for his efforts in recruiting Mbappe at the Euros, in interviews, and, of course, at the UEFA Nations League. He and Mbappe have tremendous chemistry. That is easy to see. You can only imagine how brilliant their chemistry would be at Real Madrid if they are able to play game after game for a couple of years.

Real Madrid have dreams of pairing up Benzema and Mbappe together at the Santiago Bernabeu. And the legendary Merengue No. 9 appears to be doing his best to make that happen at every chance he gets.
