Former Chelsea boss Jose Mouirnho has managed some clubs in recent times, especially in the Premier League.

After his second stint at Chelsea, he went on to manage Manchester United and Tottenham in the English league before moving to Roma this summer.

Mourinho often likes an eye for Chelsea talent, snapping up Tammy Abraham for his Roma side this summer of course.

It would be amazing if you guys subscribed for my project over at Si & Dan Talk Chelsea, where we are putting out so much Chelsea content including DAILY Newsletters, exclusive news, breaking news, Podcasts, interviews, inside information, and bringing in some massive guests!

But he has tried with more players too, Olivier Giroud to be precised, according to the player himself talking in an exclusive with The Daily Mirror.

The current AC Milan striker was speaking  about when he was at Chelsea and other clubs were coming in for him, one of which was Tottenham, which he turned down.

Giroud said:

“Tottenham was interested and Jose Mourinho was interested. But I was so close to signing for Inter, for Lazio, I was desperate for game time.

“Tottenham was there but, to be honest, it was not a clear option because the race for the Premier league top four made it difficult for anything to happen.

“But also in my heart, as a proper ex-Gunner, and as we always say: ‘Once a Gunner, always a Gunner.’ It would have been very weird to have played Tottenham. That’s why it didn’t happen.”

‘Once a Gunner, always a Gunner’? Bit odd seeing as he went from Arsenal to one of their other massive rivals, Chelsea!

But there you go. Imagine if he went to Tottenham from Chelsea!? ‘Gunners’ would riot!
