Here's Where You've Seen 'YOU' Season 3 Librarian Marienne Before

You is back for a third season on Netflix and a new character is catching the attention of viewers (and, naturally, Joe Goldberg).

Reprising his role as the cap-wearing killer, Penn Badgley and Victoria Pedretti's Love Quinn explore the world of parenthood in Season 3 and, of course, their battle with their murderous tendencies.

In addition to the complicated couple's move to the suburbs (a fictitious California town named Madre Linda), a new cast of characters surround them to test their patience.

With a role that develops as the series progresses, Marienne the librarian is another welcome addition to the series—but viewers may recognise the actress playing her from other movies and TV shows.

Who plays Marienne the librarian in You Season 3?

The actress sitting behind the desk at the library is called Tati Gabrielle and she may be familiar to Netflix fans for her starring role in another show on the streaming service.

Gabrielle, 25, is an actress and former child model. She was born in San Francisco in 1995 and raised in California. She studied acting at school and college before making her on screen debut in 2014.

She appeared in a number of short films before starring in the TV movie Just Jenna in 2016. In her early career she was credited as Tatiana Hobson.

Where have I seen Tati Gabrielle before?

As well as playing librarian Marienne in Season 3 of You, Gabrielle also played Prudence Blackwood in The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. Her character in this supernatural series is the leader of the Weird Sisters, who later sets out for revenge against her father.

Gabrielle joined the cast of The 100 in Season 4 and played Gaia across 29 episodes of the CW series. She also lends her voice to Disney cartoon The Owl House, where she plays plant magic specialist Willow Park.

Another voiceover role of Gabrielle's might be one she'd rather forget. Gabrielle played Addie in the poorly rated The Emoji Movie, which also featured the voices of T.J. Miller, James Corden and Anna Farris.

What will Tati Gabrielle star in next?

You Season 3 isn't the last thing you'll see Gabrielle in, as she has a number of starring roles coming up across movies and television.

Gabrielle will act alongside Tom Holland and Mark Wahlberg in the video game adaptation Uncharted. Coming to cinemas in 2022, Gabrielle will play Baddock, who is an original character created for the movie.

She'll appear in another Netflix property in 2022—Jigsaw. Netflix describes the series as a "heist drama that embraces truly nonlinear storytelling — meaning viewers are in control." Giancarlo Esposito (Breaking Bad), Paz Vega, Rufus Sewell (Judy) and Jai Courtney (The Suicide Squad) all star alongside Gabrielle.
