Supercomputer Predicts Full Premier League Table After International Break, Man United Finish Outside Of Top Four

A supercomputer has predicted that Brentford will manage to shockingly beat Manchester United for a place in the Premier League top four this season.

United are currently fourth in the Premier League table and level on points with third-place Manchester City, fifth-place Everton and sixth-place Brighton.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men might only be two points behind league leaders Chelsea, but a supercomputer has ruled them out of the race for both the title and top four.

Football Web Pages has now predicted that United will finish fifth at the end of the season with 70 points -- the same number of points as sixth-place West Ham.

United’s failure to secure Champions League football will fortune Brentford, who finish fourth with an impressive 74 points.

Brentford, who were promoted to the Premier League at the end of last season, were only two points behind third-place City in the supercomputer’s predictions.

Liverpool comfortably secure second place with 89 points, while Chelsea successfully dethrone City as champions of England.

According to the supercomputer, Chelsea will only lose one match in the Premier League and will secure a hefty 99 points en route to the title.

Everton and Brighton finish seventh and eighth respectively, while Aston Villa are ninth and Wolves secure 10th place this season.

Leicester City’s bid to challenge for Champions League football falls well short, with Brendan Rodgers’ men finishing 11th.

Nuno Espirito Santo’s first season in charge of Tottenham leaves the club languishing in 12th, with London rivals Arsenal 13th on the same number of points (43).

It’s unknown if the Saudi Arabian-backed takeover of Newcastle led to a cash injection in the January transfer window, but the Magpies avoid relegation from the Premier League.

Newcastle, who are currently 19th in the league table, finish 17th in the supercomputer’s predictions.

Burnley, Southampton and Norwich City are all condemned to the Championship after failing to climb out of the relegation zone.

The Premier League will return on Saturday after the international break, with 14 teams in action.
