Joao Cancelo (Manchester City)
The highest scoring defender in the game, you might think bringing a defender into your team considering the Pep Roulette system is high risk, but Cancelo has started and played the full 90 minutes of every single game, achieving at least six points in all but two games this season. That includes two 12 point hauls.

He will set you back a good £6.2m but he is a cheaper option than the likes of Andy Robertson and Trent Alexander-Arnold, with arguably similar or better attacking return chances. Burnley at home next provides plenty of hope for returns. Brighton away is the toughest of the next three fixtures for Man City, who then face Crystal Palace at home. Points seem guaranteed for Cancelo in this time.

Mason Mount (Chelsea)
The England midfielder has had a tough time with injuries and fitness so far this season, but looked good for England during the international break and always carries an attacking threat. He may not be the most obvious choice but with four fixtures in a row with a fixture difficulty rating of just two, Mount is likely to pick up some points. Brentford away are next in the London derby, which is due to be a tasty one.

Emile Smith-Rowe (Arsenal)
Plenty of players had Smith-Rowe in their team at the beginning of the season - he failed to return for the first five fixtures. Then along came Spurs, a goal and an assist were a huge confidence booster followed by what could have been a Man of the Match performance against Brighton had Arsenal been able to find the back of the net. Smith-Rowe impressed again, scoring midweek for England U21s and at just 5.7% ownership and at a cost of £5.4m, could be an enabler for you to fit in more premium options while still racking up the points.

Arsenal face Crystal Palace at home next, a game they will fancy as Patrick Vieira returns to the Emirates Stadium for the first time as manager.

Kevin De Bruyne (Manchester City)
Now, you'll definitely have to sacrifice one of your premium options here but as previously mentioned, Manchester City have a lovely run of fixtures coming up, which means Kevin De Bruyne could be in for some serious hauls. At an ownership of just 2.1%(!) he could be the differential pick to help you climb your mini leagues. He has finally recovered from the injury problems that plagued him during the Euros and the start of the season, scored against Liverpool last time out and will look to build on that. Could a risk on De Bruyne prove fruitful?

Heung-min Son (Tottenham Hotspur)
Another player with a surprisingly low ownership percentage, Son has shone in a Spurs team that have not this season. Newcastle away next could see the midfielder haul once again. He has back to back returns with a goal and two assists and is often a guaranteed points returner. From gameweek 11 to potentially 18, Son is a must in your team. Expect to see him in our suggestions time and time again.
