I Still Can’t Believe There is No Bread in Beachwood! Can You?

So I was traveling down Route Nine in Beachwood recently and as I passed this one section of the roadway I said to myself "I Still Can't Believe There is No Bread in Beachwood!".

Of course, I am talking about the former site of the Town and Country Bakery, right there on Route Nine in Beachwood. The former bakery sits dark and for folks there in Beachwood...there is no bread.

In a recent article, I discussed one bakery here in New Jersey that made "Food & Wine" Top 100 Bakeries in America list and I thought this section of Ocean County needs a bakery. The smells of fresh bread, cake, and cupcakes! that's what we need in Beachwood.

People who remember the old Town and Country Bakery loved it and I think for the most part area residents would love a nice "local" fresh bakery. I'm not sure at this point what the status is of the former bakery location, but maybe there are other locations locally in this section of Ocean County that could house a new "local" bakery.

So let's think...do we want a new bakery in Beachwood? is the former Town and Country location a viable option? is there another location that would be a good option for a new bakery in the Beachwood area?
