St George Illawarra Dragons have confirmed the signings of three players for 2022, as the club looks to revamp their roster after some lean seasons.

Headlining the list of new recruits is former NSW Origin and Australian front-rower Aaron Woods , who will join the Red V on a one-year deal after being told he wouldn't be re-signed by Cronulla .

Jack Gosiewski will also make his way to the Dragons for 2022 after spending the past four seasons at Manly.

Dragons general manager of football Ben Haran welcomed the new additions to their forward pack for next year.

"We look forward to the arrival of Aaron and Jack, in addition to other key personnel, ahead of the upcoming season," he said.

"They will complement the development of our younger players and add another dimension to our evolving forward pack."

Woods has played over 230 games in the top grade across stints with the Tigers, Bulldogs and Sharks, and was a mainstay for NSW and Australia between 2013-2018.

The other signing the Dragons announced on Friday afternoon is Tautau Moga, who has had a horror run with injuries throughout his NRL career.

Haran welcomed the 27-year-old centre to the club and believes he will add value to St George next year.

"Tautau hasn't had the easiest rugby league journey but has shown plenty of resilience and fight to be in a position where he will certainly add value to our squad," he said.

"Tautau's experiences over the last decade will hold him in good stead as a seasoned member of our outside back ranks."

Moga, Woods and Gosiewski join a host of big-name recruits for 2022, including State of Origin stars Francis Molo and Jaydn Su'A .

The club have also acquired former premiership-winning South Sydney prop George Burgess , as well as former QLD Maroons utility Moses Mbye
