Hawaii Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 67-year-old Christopher A. Polifka of Kona, who was reported missing by his family on Sunday.

Polifka is described as being Caucasian, 6 feet, 1 inch tall, weighing 165 pounds, with a medium build, and reddish-blond hair and blue eyes, according to the Hawaii Police Department. He was last seen Nov. 24, 2020, in Kailua-Kona, and may have been making his way toward the Ocean View area of Ka‘u.

Anyone with any information on Polifka’s whereabouts is asked to call Officer Rodney Kekaualua, Jr. of the Ka‘u Patrol division at (808) 939-2520, or via email at rodney.kekaualua@hawaiicounty.gov. Information can also be relayed via the department’s nonemergency line at (808) 935-3311.
