The Chicago-bred Worry Club creator, Chase Walsh, is a self-taught bedroom artist, making his connection to his fans a more personal experience. On the track, Chase states, “The song is lyrically dark and dingy, but beautiful. It comes from a really sweet place in your mind.” “Jonesin’” seems to be Chase’s firm embrace of the intimacy he fostered through his pandemic-inspired Instagram live performances, where he created a community for his fans to share their feelings, struggles, and ideas. On the importance of this community, Chase says, “I've gone through a lot of shit in my life at a really young age. I feel like I had to grow up really fast. I want anyone in a similar situation to know that there’s a way out. I just want to give people hope. If I can make music, anyone can do it.”
